Which hot spots are the hottest in the U.S.?

A new survey released by ZDNet reveals that the United States ranks as the most-visited hotspot for mobile phones and tablets, with more than 2.7 million visitors making it their main source of smartphone and tablet news.

The survey, conducted by Zagat Analytics and Zagate, found that the top two hotspots in the United State, New York and Los Angeles, ranked among the top five most visited cities in the country for smartphone and iPad users, as well as the second most visited hotspot in the world.

In the United Kingdom, it’s the second-most-visit hotspot, with 1.4 million visitors per day.

Zagate Analytics also looked at traffic statistics for the top 20 hot spots in the states, and found that there were more than 40 million visits per day to each of those spots, a number that is higher than the national average.

Overall, the top 10 hotspots for mobile devices in the nation, according to the Zagates report, are:New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Pennsylvania.
